Nigeria striker Osaze Odemwingie has relived his six-month injury nightmare at Stoke City just as he is back in training in a bid to regain full fitness.
Osaze has been sidelined since last August after suffering a serious knee ligament injury in City’s 1-0 win over the Premier League champions Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium and he resumed training with Stoke squad on yesterday. “It has been tough but the medical staff have been brilliant and helped me enormously,” he told Stoke City website.

Bayern Munich's club doctor resigns after Porto defeat


Bayern Munich's club doctor Hans-Wilhelm Muller-Wohlfahrt and three of his assistants have resigned from the club after claiming they were blamed for the shock Champions League loss to Porto.

Muller-Wohlfahrt, who had been with the German champions for almost four decades, said in a statement that the "relationship of trust has been damaged".

Except the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) chiefs intervene, there are strong indications that Daniel Amokachi would be axed from the Super Eagles technical crew.


Sportinglife scooped that a seeming fued exists between the Eagles players, some of the coaches and Amokachi which could cost his replacement at a time when the NFF wants to fortify the team’s techncial crew.
