GRIEZMANN TO CHELSEA? Where next for RVP and more transfer gist



Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann is open to a summer move to Chelsea, according to The Telegraph
Griezmann’s currently has a £43 million buy-out clause that was inserted into his deal after joining from Real Sociedad last summer and Jose Mourinho is reportedly considering a move for the Frenchman.

Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal: 'I stopped Memphis Depay signing for Paris Saint-Germain'


Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has revealed that he personally had to intervene to stop Memphis Depay signing for Paris Saint-Germain.
The United boss, who secured a deal for the 21-year-old from PSV Eindhoven on Thursday, insists he did not want to sign Depay or any other player before the end of the season but was forced to step in with the winger on the verge of joining the French Ligue 1 champions.

Dangote still wants to buy Arsenal


Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, said he still wants to buy English Premier League soccer team Arsenal even after he was rebuffed by its owners in 2010. Nigeria’s Dangote, an Arsenal fan worth $15.7 billion, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, discussed buying a stake in the club five years ago before talks with the owners fell through, he said. Since then his wealth has grown more than sevenfold.

Fenerbahce wants to dump Emenike for Fulham star

Super Eagles’ striker, Emmanuel Emenike’s days at Fenerbahce appears to be heading to an end following the Turkish club’s desperate attempts to lure Fulham star, Kostas Mitroglou, to Istanbul.
Mitroglou cost Fulham a club record £12 million when they signed him in January 2014, but after spending the rest of the season mostly on the sidelines as the London club took the Premier League plunge, he was dispatched back to the club from where he came, Olympiacos of Greece.

Moyes criticises worst ever Premier League season


David Moyes believes the current Premier League season is the worst in recent memory, but insists that he will eventually return to England’s top-flight.

Moyes departed Manchester United last April and has since taken the reins at struggling La Liga side Real Sociedad.

However, the Scot has kept a watching brief on the Premier League, and has expressed his surprise at the lack of competitiveness in the division.
