Keshi to name 26 for Chad

Super Eagles head coach Stephen Keshi is set to name 26 players for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) qualifying game against Chad.
The 26 players will be wholly domestic players as the successful ones will battle for place in the final squad with the overseas-based players who will be called up.
Keshi says it’s time to “return to basics” as he looks to “build a solid squad that will make Nigerians happy again”.

ALVES CLOSE TO MAN UTD DEAL
Manchester United are very close to confirming a deal for Barcelonaright-back Dani Alves, according to Catalan newspaper Sport.
The paper report that the player will snub Barca after United offered him a contract that was ‘far superior’ to the one on the table from the Spanish club.
The 32-year-old is available on a free transfer as his contract at the Nou Camp expires this summer.

Awoniyi Hat-Trick Fires Flying Eagles Past Hoffenheim's
Taiwo Awoniyi scored a second half hat-trick as the Flying Eagles thrashed Hoffenheim's U23s 5-2 in their first friendly game in preparation for the Under-20 World Youth Championship.
Saviour Godwin got the Eagles off to a flying start but the German level things up after some poor defending from the Nigerians.

Amokachi set to join Taraba United fc!
Daniel Amokachi looks set to take over as coach of Nigeria Premier League outfit FC Taraba, AfricanFootball.com can report today.
The 42-year-old Amokachi, who is not expected to return as assistant to Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi, has handled Nasarawa United, Enyimba as well as the Super Eagles and U23 national team.
His former national teammate and close friend Tijjani Babangida is a consultant to Taraba.

Tottenham Hotspur forward, Emmanuel Adebayor, has accused his younger brother, Rotimi, of stealing shirts given to him by late Cameroonian striker, Marc Vivien Foe and French football legend, Zinedine Zidane and a necklace worth €45,000.

Chelsea captain John Terry 'begging' Jose Mourinho to play
John Terry has played every minute of Chelsea's Premier League title-winning campaign and will ask Jose Mourinho to continue in the last two games of the season in a bid to beat his personal goal-scoring record.

Chairman of The English Football Association, Mr. Greg Dyke has pledged to do everything possible to promote collaboration with the Nigeria Football Federation.
