ALVES CLOSE TO MAN UTD DEAL
Manchester United are very close to confirming a deal for Barcelonaright-back Dani Alves, according to Catalan newspaper Sport.
The paper report that the player will snub Barca after United offered him a contract that was ‘far superior’ to the one on the table from the Spanish club.
The 32-year-old is available on a free transfer as his contract at the Nou Camp expires this summer.

MONACO IN FOR MARIO
Monaco are considering a summer swoop for Atletico Madridforward Mario Mandzukic, according to Le Parisien.
The Ligue 1 club are on the hunt for attacking reinforcements as both Dimitar Berbatov, whose contract expires next month, and Radamel Falcao, who is on loan at Manchester United, could move on.
Mandzukic, who is in his debut season at Atleti, has scored 20 times in 42 appearances, although he has failed to find the back of the net since February.
CONFIRMED: INTER WANT TOURE
Inter president Erick Thohir has confirmed they will try to sign Manchester City’s Yaya Toure.
Toure’s future at City is in doubt and a link-up with former manager Roberto Mancini is reportedly a serious option for the player.
Thohir told Italian daily Il Tempo: "How many chances there are to sign him? I can't say, but what is clear is that we will try in each way to bring him to Inter.”
LIVERPOOL WANT MARTINEZ
Liverpool want Real Sociedad centre-back Inigo Martinez, reportsMarca.
Reds boss Brendan Rodgers has brought in big-money centre-backs such as Mamadou Sakho and Dejan Lovren during the past two seasons but he wants to bolster his defence once again with a move for Martinez.
According to Marca, Liverpool contacted Real Sociedad a few days ago to enquire about the centre-back's availability.
The Reds are believed to have offered €20m for the 23-year-old, but the Spanish side rejected the bid. Real Sociedad have told Liverpool to meet the defender's €30m buyout clause fee if they want to sign him.
BOATENG TO LAZIO?
Kevin Prince Boateng is close to joining Lazio for £4m after being suspended by Schalke, according to Corriere della Sera.
Schalke suspended Kevin-Prince Boateng indefinitely following Sunday's 2-0 loss at Cologne.
The club, managed by former Chelsea boss Roberto Di Matteo, blamed a "lack of mutual trust" and told Boateng that they can find a new club.
BEGOVIC MOVING ON
Stoke City are set to sell goalkeeper Asmir Begovic this summer, according to the Sentinel.
Begovic has been in negotiations with the club for over a year but is yet to come to an agreement as it’s reported he wants to become the club’s best paid player.
Stoke want £8million for their star goalkeeper.

Inter Milan have made positive steps in their pursuit of Manchester City forward Stevan Jovetic, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
The 25-year-old has failed to make much of an impact during his time in England but a move could depend on whether Manuel Pellegrini leaves Manchester City. If he stays, so might Jovetic.
