SL10 Unveil Some Clauses In Keshi's New Contract
Out of contract Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi, who is set to be offered a new deal by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), must be prepared to work with some stringent clauses not contained in his previous deal.
SL10.ng sort to know some of the much talked about clauses and our sources at the NFF revealed the details of some of the clauses he must accept if he is to continue in his role as coach.
Keshi will be paid the same amount which he was previously earning (5 million naira) but just like his expired deal he will have no official car attached to him.
He is also not allowed to go to the press with issues of his salary or his employers and all of his statements on his team must go through the image maker of the NFF.
The Big Boss according to what SL10.ng gathered can't spend more than 21 days outside the shores of the country and he is entitled to just 500,000 Naira as travelling allowance.
Also included in the deal is a clause that forbids him from receiving gifts from corporate bodies, individuals or State Governments without the knowledge of the NFF.
However, the one clause that might be rejected out-rightly by Keshi is the one that says he will be given a pool of players by the technical committee from which he will call-up players for games.
The new contract is expected to be handed over to him anytime soon.
