Sky Sports pundits Jamie Carragher and Neil McCann believe Real Madrid will look to sign David de Gea this summer.
The Manchester United goalkeeper has been in fine form this season with manager Louis van Gaal describing his displays as “unbelievable”, but he has less than 18 months left on his current contract.
Real Madrid stopper Iker Casillas was criticised as he conceded four goals at home to Schalke in the Champions League on Tuesday night and Carragher thinks the club will now try to tempt De Gea back to Spain.
He wrote on Twitter: “Madrid need a new keeper. De Gea wants to win trophies. No brainer.”
