Arsenal are close to signing Argentine wonderkid Maximiliano Romero, according to the Sun.
The 16-year-old, dubbed the new Lionel Messi, currently plays atVelez Sarsfield and negotiations between the two clubs are underway.
Arsenal would have to pay £4.5million to secure the promising striker's services, but it is thought a deal could be reached this month.
